Experience
Attorney Jack Dolan practices labor and employment law and general municipal law. He also is responsible for implementation and coordination of our Human Resources Support Services program.
Attorney Dolan came to the firm with a broad municipal law and management background. He has over 28 years of experience representing clients in both the public and private sectors, with particular emphasis on municipal and school law and labor relations. He also was a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Ethics Committee for 12 years and authored the majority of its municipal law ethics opinions during that time.
Attorney Dolan also served 11 years as a municipal manager. In that capacity and as a former Vice President of an employee benefits consulting firm, Attorney Dolan acquired extensive knowledge of collective bargaining, labor relations, the procurement and management of employee benefits, and human resources management.
Representative Matters
- Assisting municipalities and other employers in complying with their obligations and preventing claims under the ADA, FMLA, FLSA, USERRA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other federal and state laws related to human resources
- Negotiating collective bargaining agreements
- Providing timely and practical guidance on implementation of MA Health Care Reform, Chapter 32B issues, and the like
