Experience

Attorney Kevin Burke’s practice focuses on public sector labor and employment law.  He advises municipal clients with regard to collective bargaining, hiring and discharge, employee benefits, and grievance procedure.  Attorney Burke also represents municipal clients before judicial and administrative bodies with regard to individual claims of discrimination.  In addition to assisting clients in labor and employment matters, Attorney Burke also advises clients with regard to general municipal issues including municipal liability under federal civil rights law.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Kopelman and Paige, Attorney Burke was an associate at an insurance defense firm where his practice focused on general litigation matters including construction litigation, products liability, and employment law.

While in law school Attorney Burke served as a legal intern for Kopelman and Paige, a New York City labor and employment firm, the National Labor Relations Board, and a large insurance defense firm.
