Matthew G. Feher Elected President of MMLA

KP Law is pleased to announce that Attorney Matthew G. Feher, a Member of the firm, was elected President of the Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association (MMLA) at its June 8, 2022 Annual Business Meeting. Attorney Feher served as MMLA Vice President from 2020-2022, as a Director on the MMLA Executive Board since 2015, and as chair of the MMLA Legislative Committee since 2011. MMLA, founded in 1946 as the City Solicitors and Town Counsel Association, is the municipal law bar association of Massachusetts and its members are attorneys whose practice includes providing legal services to cities and towns or who otherwise devote a substantial portion of their practice to the advancement of municipal law. Since its inception, MMLA has served to further the interests of Massachusetts cities and towns, including preparation and submittal of amicus briefs in cases impacting municipal clientele, addressing legislative and regulatory issues effecting all aspects of municipal governance and authority, and providing municipal legal educational programs to its members and public officials.
